YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado, and Sherman and Wallace counties in Kansas for Thursday. A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for adjacent counties Thursday, too. An additional Fire Weather Watch has been issued for the entire area Friday. Critical fire weather conditions will promote explosive wildfire growth.  A High Wind Watch has been issued for the entire area for Friday as northwesterly winds gust up to 65 MPH. Blowing dust may reduce visibilities under a mile. Travel will become hazardous Friday for the entire area.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
