.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of southwest
Nebraska and northwest Kansas this evening on into Friday morning. A
combination of light snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain will be
possible that may cause hazardous travel.
Windy conditions will be possible across the entire area this
afternoon and evening, where gusts up to 30 mph are possible.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY…
Winter Weather Advisory will continue for the morning hours Friday
and will end as precipitation changes over to light rain and tapers
off. Hazardous travel still possible Friday morning.
Southerly winds will transition to northwesterly as low pressure
passes over the area. Wind gusts near 50 mph are possible,
especially going into Friday evening.

Spotter activation will not be needed, but any reports of snow and
ice will be greatly appreciated.
