YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A cold front will move through the area tonight. It will enter Yuma County, Colorado, by around 9-10 PM MT this evening, and exit Gove County in northwest Kansas by around 1-2 AM CT. The front will be accompanied by northwest winds gusting up to 55 mph and some patchy blowing dust for a few hours afterwards.  A band of light snow will develop overnight in northeast Colorado and move through the rest of the area through Sunday morning. Accumulations of less than one inch are expected, but with the gusty winds could see some areas of blowing snow once it starts to accumulate.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Light snow and blowing snow continue through Sunday morning.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Active weather across portions of the Tri-State Area is anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report significant weather conditions.
