.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY…
A period of wintry precipitation will be possible across portions of
the Tri-State area Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon,
mainly in northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska along and east of
US Hwy 83.
While precipitation amounts are expected to be relatively low, a
complex mix of rain, snow, freezing rain, and sleet will be possible
at times which could make travel difficult. Stay tuned to future
forecasts for updates on the potential precipitation types and
amounts Thursday and Friday. In addition, strong wind gusts up to 45
mph will be possible Friday in the afternoon and evening hours.
