This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY…

Strong northwest winds around 30 mph with gusts approaching 50 mph
are expected across the Tri-State area on Monday. Peak winds will
occur during the afternoon as relative humidity values drop to around
20 percent. The combination of low relative humidity, strong winds,
and very dry fuels will produce an area of elevated fire weather
conditions generally along and west of a line from Wray, Colorado to
Leoti, Kansas.
