Strong northwest winds will develop across the Tri-State area Monday
afternoon, particularly in eastern Colorado and extreme western
Kansas, or along and west of Highway 83, where sustained winds as
high as 35 to 45 mph and gusts as high as 55 to 65 mph will be
possible. Strong northwest winds and low relative humidity values
will create hazardous fire weather conditions Monday afternoon,
particularly along and west of Highway 83.
Hazardous fire weather conditions cannot be ruled out across portions
of the area Tuesday afternoon, mainly along and west of Highway 83.
