Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for the entire Tri-State
area through Sunday morning. A mix of rain, freezing rain, and snow
can be expected within the advisory area. Dense fog and freezing fog
will continue this morning. North winds gusting 35 to 45 mph are
expected from noon through the afternoon along and west of the
Colorado Kansas border and across the entire area tonight. This may
cause blowing snow and low visibility. Travel will be impacted over
the weekend by this storm system.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY…

A chance for snow and blowing snow remains in the forecast through
Sunday afternoon. Wind gusts to 50 mph are expected. Snow is
expected to taper off in the afternoon. Blowing snow will be possible
into the evening as the storm exits the region.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate any
snowfall reports.
