YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect tonight. Wind chill readings as low as 30 below will lead to an increased potential of rapid onset of hypothermia not only in humans but livestock and pets as well. Frostbite may occur in 30 minutes or less.  A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect this evening. Accumulating snowfall of several inches is possible, and will impact area travel due to reduced visibility to a mile or less and snow covered slick roadways.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  An Extreme Cold Warning remains in effect through mid-day Thursday. Wind chill readings will remain as low as 30 below, lead to an increased potential of rapid onset of hypothermia not only in humans but livestock and pets as well. Frostbite may occur in 30 minutes or less.  A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM MST Tuesday night. Accumulating snowfall is still possible, and will continue to impact area travel due to reduced visibility to a mile or less and snow covered slick roadways.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed, but any reports of snowfall would be greatly appreciated.
