This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... No hazardous weather is expected at this time. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY... Accumulating snowfall is forecast to occur with the next system Monday and Tuesday. Exact amounts and placement of amounts is still being worked out but there is the possibility of accumulations high enough to impact travel. An Extreme Cold Watch has been issued Monday evening through Thursday morning as a dangerously cold Arctic air mass will be in the area. Overnight temperatures will potentially be between 10 and 20 below and wind chills 25 to 35 below. This will lead to an increased potential of rapid onset of hypothermia not only in humans but livestock and pets as well. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
