Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

A small, light band of mixed precipitation will be possible
overnight tonight progressing from southwest to northeast across the
forecast area. Some light rain/snow mix and/or freezing rain will be
possible at times within this small band. No significant
accumulations or impacts are expected at this time.

Freezing fog producing reduced visibilities will be possible
overnight along and north of a line from Wray to Norton.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY…

Freezing fog producing reduced visibilities will be possible
Christmas morning for locations along and north of a line from
Wray to Hill City.

Rain and snow will affect the Tri-State area mainly Friday night
through Saturday. Rain will change to snow Friday night. Saturday
morning a cold front will move in, bringing gusty northwest winds
with it and potentially leading to blowing snow. Details are still
vague at this time. However those with travel plans should continue
to monitor the forecast for updates.
