Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY…

A brief period of freezing drizzle may occur after midnight early
Christmas morning east of Highway 25. The precipitation will end by
8 AM CDT. Confidence of any freezing precipitation occurring at this
time is low. If freezing drizzle does occur, it may create slick
surfaces on bridges and overpasses.

Rain will change to snow Friday night and Saturday, with snow chances
continuing through the weekend. At this time, there is low confidence
in the details, but there is some potential for moderate snow
amounts and wind with this system.
