.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…
Elevated fire weather conditions are expected for portions of the
Tri-State area late this morning and early this afternoon. No
warnings are anticipated at this time, but dry and breezy conditions
will be possible in an area between Kansas Hwy 25, Interstate 70, US
Hwy 385, and US Hwy 34. Relative humidity values will drop to as low
as the upper teens with maximum wind gusts topping out around the
low 20s. Outdoor burning is not advised for Wednesday.
