This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
Freezing fog is expected mainly for areas along and south of the
interstate from this evening through sunrise Sunday morning.
Visibilities below one half mile are possible.
Light snow is possible this evening through the overnight hours
across southern Nebraska into the northern sections of northeast
Colorado and northwest Kansas. Accumulations will generally be less
than one half inch.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY…
Accumulating snow will likely spread southward across the central
high plains region as a series of disturbances move east of the
Rockies through Sunday and Sunday night. Current trends indicate up
to one inch of snow is possible south of the Interstate 70 corridor
and east of a line from Hill City to Norton. Outside of those areas,
generally one half inch or less of total snow accumulation is
