Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY…

Strong northwest winds will develop across portions of the Tri-State
area on Friday, mainly in northeast Colorado and adjacent border
counties in Kansas and Nebraska where gusts as high as 50 to 60 mph
will be possible during the afternoon hours. Near critical fire
weather conditions will be possible across the majority of the Tri-
State area Friday afternoon.

Accumulating snow will be possible Sunday into Sunday night as an
upper level disturbance tracks east across the Rockies and High
Plains. Precipitation amounts with this system remain uncertain.
Residents and travelers are urged to monitor the forecast as the
week progresses.
