YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Red Flag Warning remains in effect across extreme southwest Nebraska for critical fire weather conditions. Across the remainder of the Tri-State area, expect very high grassland fire danger through the evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  A Fire Weather Watch has been issued for Kit Carson and Yuma counties Tuesday afternoon as southerly winds gust around 30 mph. Near critical to locally critical fire weather conditions remain forecasted for adjacent counties.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. Spotters are however encouraged to report any fires to local dispatch.
