Near critical to locally critical fire weather conditions are possible over portions of the area on Friday, mainly in eastern Colorado and adjacent Kansas border counties where breezy southwest winds may develop during the mid to late afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over much, or all, of the Tri-State area this weekend as a potent upper level low tracks eastward across the Rockies and Central Plains.
