Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TONIGHT…

A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect for portions of northwest
Kansas, northeast Colorado, and southwest Nebraska this evening.

The persistent area of dense fog with visibilities of one quarter
mile or less is expected to diminish from southwest to northeast
across the forecast area this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY…

A High Wind Warning is in effect for the entire Tri-State area
Saturday. Northwest winds gusting as high as 75 mph are expected.
Locations without snow cover will have some blowing dust producing
reduced visibilities and poor air quality. For areas with snow cover
the very strong winds may produce some blowing and drifting snow
causing some visibility reductions.

Spotter activation is not expected tonight.
