Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for portions of northwest and
west central Kansas, east central and northeast Colorado and
southwest Nebraska.

A mix of liquid and light freezing precipitation
is possible this morning along with fog and freezing fog.
Visibilities as low as a quarter mile can be expected. The fog will
linger all day and into the evening for some. Roadways may be
slippery in spots.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY…

A High Wind Warning is in effect for the entire Tri-State area
Saturday. Northwest winds gusting as high as 75 mph are expected.
Locations without snow cover will have some blowing dust producing
reduced visibilities and poor air quality. For areas with snow cover
the very strong winds may produce some blowing and drifting snow
causing some visibility reductions.
