Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TONIGHT…

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through 11 pm MST, Midnight
CST for areas in Kansas and Nebraska along and north of Interstate
70.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through 11 pm MST,
Midnight CST south of Interstate 70 for areas in Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY…

Wind chill values as low as 0 to -10 degrees are expected early
Wednesday morning, mainly west of Highway 83.

Hazardous travel conditions associated with a wintry mix of
precipitation will be possible across portions of the Tri-State area
Thursday (Thanksgiving) morning.

Strong northwest winds will be possible across the entire Tri-State
area on Saturday. Gusts may reach or exceed 60 mph Saturday
afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotters in the Tri-State area are encouraged to report snow
accumulations to the National Weather Service in Goodland. Snow
reports may be submitted via social media or by telephone.
