Near critical fire weather conditions are expected Sunday afternoon
north of Interstate 70 and along and west of Highway 27.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY…
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Monday afternoon through
Tuesday afternoon. A quick moving storm system will impact the
Central High Plains Monday night into Tuesday evening. Rain is
expected to change over to snow as temperatures fall into the 20s
Monday night. Snow is expected to impact travel through the area
Monday night and Tuesday. Winds will be breezy which will cause
additional travel concerns.
