Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until sunrise Monday morning for
portions of northwest Kansas and southwest Nebraska.

Severe thunderstorms capable of producing wind gusts up to 75 mph
will be possible late this afternoon and evening, primarily north of
Interstate 70 between 5 pm and 11 pm MDT. A brief isolated tornado
cannot be ruled out, however, damaging winds and flash flooding will
pose the greatest threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY…

Hazardous weather is not anticipated at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation may be needed this afternoon and evening.
