northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…
During the morning a narrow band of heavier snowfall will move east
across Northwest Kansas. In this band visibility will be reduced as
snowfall rates approach an inch an hour for up to an hour east of an
Atwood to Colby and Russell Springs line. Total snow for the day will
be up to two inches, with the highest amounts over Graham, Sheridan
and Gove counties.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY…
Hazardous fire weather conditions will be possible across portions
of the Tri-State area Sunday afternoon, mainly north of Interstate
A fast moving storm system will move through the Tri-State Area early
next week, bringing accumulating snow with it. Travel impacts are
expected to occur mainly overnight Monday night into Tuesday morning.
