Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…OVERNIGHT…

Hazardous weather is not anticipated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY…

A light rain and snow mix Thursday afternoon will turn to all snow
Thursday night and early Friday morning. One half inch to one inch
of snow accumulation will be possible south of Interstate 70, with a
dusting to one half inch of snow possible north of Interstate 70.

Near-critical fire weather conditions will be possible during the
afternoon hours on both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will likely be
the windier day, however Sunday will be a bit drier. Generally, wind
gusts up to 30 mph and relative humidity values down to 20% are
expected across portions of the Tri-State area on both days.

A mix of rain and snow will be possible across the area Monday
afternoon through Tuesday afternoon.
