Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

High fire danger conditions are expected today south of a line from
Flagler to Oakley where north winds gusting in the 35 to 45 mph range
will combine with relative humidity values below 30 percent.

Patchy blowing dust is possible late this morning through early
afternoon along and west of a line from Yuma to Colby and Oakley.
Localized visibility reductions are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY…

Hazardous fire weather conditions cannot be ruled out in eastern
Colorado and extreme western Kansas Friday afternoon, primarily
along and west of KS Highway 27.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed.
