Near critical fire weather conditions are expected across the
majority of the Tri-State area this afternoon. Relative humidity
values will drop to 20-30% with gusts up to 35 mph.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY…
Near critical fire weather conditions remain possible Wednesday
afternoon, primarily south of Interstate 70. This area is expected to
see relative humidity values in the 20-30% range, edging more
towards 25-30%. Winds could gust up to 45 mph. While the relative
humidity values are marginal, dry available fuels and gusty winds
are the main concerns for fire weather potential tomorrow.
