This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…
A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible from late this
afternoon into the early evening hours along and west of a line from
Benkelman to Sharon Springs and Tribune. The primary threats will be
wind gusts over 60 mph, hail to an inch in diameter and locally heavy
rainfall.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY…
Late afternoon and evening thunderstorms will remain possible each
day through Wednesday. A few severe storms cannot be ruled out.
There is a heightened threat for locally heavy rainfall and flash
flooding Saturday night and Sunday night generally along and north
of the interstate.
