Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the entire Tri-State area
through noon MDT (1 PM CDT). Additional snowfall amounts of under
one inch are expected. Snowpacked and slick roadways are likely.

A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect tonight for Yuma, Cheyenne and Kit
Carson counties of Colorado. Wind chill readings as low as 15 degrees
below zero are expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY…

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate snowfall
reports via telephone and social media.
