Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

North winds gusting as high as 30 to 40 mph are possible late this
morning into the afternoon hours throughout the majority of the
region. These winds combined with dry conditions could produce
elevated fire weather conditions.

Light rain will transition to snow tonight into Thursday morning as
temperatures fall below freezing. Light snow accumulations are
possible in eastern Colorado, and in adjacent areas in northwest
Kansas south of Interstate 70. Slick spots could develop on
roadways.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY…

Elevated fire weather conditions are possible across the region on
Friday and Saturday.
