Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

Strong northwest winds will persist across portions of the Tri-State
area today, mainly north of Interstate 70 and east of Highway 83,
where sustained winds as high as 30 to 40 mph and gusts as high as
50 mph will remain possible through mid to late afternoon. Areas of
blowing dust will be possible through the afternoon which may cause
reductions in visibility.

Near critical fire weather conditions will also persist across the
majority of the Tri-State area this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY…

Near critical fire weather conditions are expected Tuesday afternoon
across the majority of the Tri-State area.
