Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

A High Wind Warning is in effect this afternoon for portions of
northeast Colorado, extreme southwest Nebraska, and extreme
northwest Kansas. Wind gusts to 65 mph will be possible. Some blowing
dust is also expected through early this evening locally reducing
visibilities to three miles or so at times. This may cause hazardous
travel conditions.

A Red Flag Warning remains in effect along and south of Interstate
70 this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY…

Near critical fire weather conditions are expected across much of
the Tri-State area Monday afternoon.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT…

Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate measured
wind gusts of 50 mph or higher and reports of blowing dust producing
reduced visibilities.
