YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Some fog is expected this morning, especially in Eastern Colorado. There could be a few patches of dense fog.  This evening and into the early night hours, there is a chance for severe storms. Storms may form in East Central Colorado and move east across the across the area. Large to very large hail, damaging wind gusts as high as 75 to 85 mph, a few tornadoes and flash flooding are all possible. Currently, the favored area for the strongest severe storms is Eastern Colorado and Kansas counties along and south of Interstate 70. There is a chance as well that storms may miss the area.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  There will be chances for showers and thunderstorms across the area from Friday into next week, primarily in the late afternoon and evening hours. Severe thunderstorms are possible along with locally heavy rainfall and flooding.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be needed this evening.
