YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  A high impact weather day is expected Tuesday afternoon and evening, generally in the 3 PM MDT (4 PM CDT) to 10 PM MDT (11 PM CDT) timeframe as a strong cold front moves through the area. The primary hazards include destructive wind gusts up to 80 mph, damaging hail up the size of golf balls, and locally heavy rainfall that may produce flash flooding or flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas. Those with outdoor interests should stay aware of the weather and have a place of shelter in mind should warnings be issued.  The threat for severe thunderstorms will continue during the afternoon and evening hours Wednesday and Thursday. The primary hazards include large hail, damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall that may produce flash flooding or flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
