This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... A Flood Watch for potential Flash Flooding is in effect for the entire Tri State region this afternoon and tonight. Locally heavy rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible, and will impact all primary and secondary roadways. For this afternoon and evening, strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to move in from the west. Hail up to two inches in diameter and wind gusts up to 70 MPH may occur with the strongest storms. The largest hail will be likely with lone storms. If a line of storms form, damaging wind gusts will become more of a threat. There will also be the threat for locally heavy rainfall to cause flash flooding as well. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...
