Visibilities may be reduced due to fog for a few hours this morning for locations generally west of a line from Trenton to Burlington. Heat index values around 100 degrees are forecast this afternoon along and south of a line from Norton to Gove and Leoti. Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible south of Interstate 70 late this afternoon. During the overnight hours, this activity may lift northward, eventually exiting the area by sunrise Thursday morning. The primary hazards will be wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail up to the size of golf balls. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY... Thunderstorms will slowly increase in coverage Thursday afternoon, becoming likely along and north of Interstate 70 Thursday night. A few thunderstorms could become severe with large hail and damaging winds. Excessive rainfall is possible along and north of the Kansas Nebraska border. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon through Friday night.
