YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Flood Warning is in effect for portions of Wallace County along the Smokey Hill River where flooding is still occurring.  Patchy fog is anticipated along and west of Highway 25 in Kansas through mid morning. Visibilities as low as 1 mile are possible. Be prepared for rapid reductions in visibility for the morning commute.  A conditional chance for a severe storm or two exists north of Interstate 70 late this afternoon and into the evening. If a storm does develop, large hail, damaging winds and torrential rainfall would be the primary hazards.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage Wednesday and Thursday across the area. Severe storms are possible with the potential for all hazards. Torrential rainfall will accompany any storm leading to the continued risk for flash flooding.    .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required this evening.
