YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage and intensity this afternoon and evening as they slowly move to the southeast. The primary hazard with these slowly moving thunderstorms will be locally heavy rainfall which may produce flash flooding. Locations that received heavy rainfall Monday would have a heightened risk for flash flooding. The threat for severe thunderstorms is low.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate reports of severe weather, rainfall and flash flooding.
