YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Tonight, a cluster of showers and thunderstorms will move into the area from the Colorado Front Range. The primary hazard will be locally heavy rainfall which may produce flooding and flash flooding along and west of Kansas Highway 25. There is also a marginal risk for an isolated severe thunderstorm or two to develop along and west of a line from Flagler to Cheyenne Wells in Colorado tonight that may yield strong wind gusts and large hail.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  There will be a continued heightened risk of flooding and flash flooding Monday through the day Tuesday as another cluster of thunderstorms moves into the area from the Colorado Front Range. The area of greatest concern for flooding and flash flooding will be generally along and west of Kansas Highway 25.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate any reports of severe weather, rainfall and flash flooding.
