YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  A few strong to severe thunderstorms are expected across the region on Friday, mainly for areas south of a line from Yuma, Colorado to Danbury, Nebraska. The primary threat from these storms will be damaging winds, though some large hail to the size of quarters can not be ruled out. Heavy rainfall and flash flooding will also be possible with overnight thunderstorm activity.  There will be a continued risk for flooding from prolonged heavy rainfall with any storms that develop during the weekend into next week. A few strong to severe thunderstorms can not be completely ruled out Saturday and Sunday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected tonight.
