This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... A few thunderstorms are possible across the region today, with eastern Colorado holding the best chance of seeing a storm. Severe weather is not currently anticipated. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY... A few strong to severe thunderstorms are expected across the region tomorrow, mainly southwest of a line from Yuma Colorado to Oakley Kansas. The primary threat from these storms will be damaging winds, though some large hail to the size of quarters can not be ruled out. Heavy rainfall and flash flooding will also be possible with overnight thunderstorm activity. There will be a continued risk for flooding from prolonged heavy rainfall with any storms that develop during the weekend into next week.
