This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT... Scattered strong slow moving thunderstorms will continue through early this evening, primarily along and east of Kansas Highway 27. The primary hazard will be very heavy rainfall with rainfall rates over three inches per hour from the strongest slow moving storms. This may produce localized flooding, especially for those that have received considerable rainfall over the past few days. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY... There will be a continued risk for flooding from heavy rainfall with storms during the latter half of the week. Locations that have received multiple rounds of heavy rainfall or flash flooding recently should keep a heightened awareness of the weather situation, especially for areas that are already flood prone. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed. We would appreciate any reports of severe weather or flooding via telephone and social media.
