YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Locally dense fog is in place over Sherman and part of Cheyenne County Kansas. The fog should clear by 9 AM MDT.  Smoke from Canadian wildfires may reduce visibility and lower the air quality in portions of the Tri-State Area.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...  Scattered strong to severe thunderstorms may form over the Tri-State Area on Wednesday and through the rest of the week. Heavy rainfall may be possible with these storms which could cause flash flooding.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
