northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
A Frost Advisory is in effect for the entire region after midnight
tonight into Monday morning. Another round of low temperatures
dipping into the middle 30s is expected.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY…
Near critical fire weather conditions are expected Monday afternoon
for locations along and west of a line from Benkelman Nebraska to
Goodland and Tribune Kansas due to warm, dry, and breezy conditions.
Below freezing temperatures are expected across much of the forecast
area through the overnight and early morning hours each day beginning
Wednesday night and continuing into next weekend. A hard freeze is
possible for much of the area Thursday night into Friday morning
with record or near record low temperatures possible. A hard freeze
remains possible for areas along and west of the Colorado Kansas
border early Saturday morning.
With precipitation also expected during this period, it will be
possible for light rain to mix with and change to light snow. Light
snowfall accumulations are possible Thursday night west of a line
from Trenton Nebraska to Burlington Colorado.
