YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Red Flag Warning is in effect this afternoon for Graham and Norton counties this afternoon with southerly winds gusting around 35 mph. Near critical to locally critical fire conditions for Decatur, Sheridan and Gove county are expected as well; any activity involving sparks is discouraged this afternoon.  Locally strong, short lived winds up to 50 mp and localized blowing dust is possible mainly across Yuma, Kit Carson, Dundy and Cheyenne County Kansas through sunset due to ongoing virga and light showers. Be prepared for rapidly changing conditions.   .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are possible Tuesday through Thursday across the Tri-State area.  Near record to record high temperatures are possible Wednesday and Thursday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not needed at this time.
