Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…TODAY AND TONIGHT…

Hazardous weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY…

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms Wednesday
afternoon and evening, primarily north of a line from Yuma, Colorado,
to Hill City, Kansas. Marginally severe storms capable of producing
hail up to quarter size and wind gusts of up to 60 mph will be
possible.

Thunderstorms capable of producing locally heavy rainfall will be
possible Thursday afternoon and evening, especially in northeast
Colorado.

Thunderstorm chances will continue each afternoon and evening through
the upcoming weekend. An isolated severe storm or two cannot be ruled
out, as well as locally heavy rainfall due to repeated rounds of
storms.
