Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

A Red Flag Warning is in effect along and west of KS Highway 27 this
afternoon. Breezy south to southwest winds will persist across the
Tri-State area today. Sustained winds ranging from 15 to 25 mph with
gusts to near 35 mph.

There is a risk for isolated severe thunderstorms in extreme
southwest Nebraska and northwest Kansas north of Interstate 70 during
the evening hours. The main threats will be large hail and damaging
winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY…

Frost cannot be ruled out across portions of northeast Colorado and
southwest Nebraska on Thursday morning.

Spotter activation may be required after 6 PM MDT(7 PM CDT).
