YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Hazardous travel conditions will persist across portions of the area, especially on secondary roads that remain snow covered. Any snow melt on sidewalks, parking lots, and area roads will quickly turn into ice as temperatures fall into the single digits this evening. Wind chill readings as low as 5 to 15 degrees below zero are expected late this evening into Friday morning.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
