northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.
.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…
Areas of fog with visibilities below one mile can be expected from
late this evening through sunrise Sunday morning generally east of a
line from near Benkelman to Colby and Oakley.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY…
Dangerous fire weather conditions are expected during the afternoon
hours Sunday and Monday. A Red Flag Warning is in effect along and
west of Highway 27 Sunday afternoon. A Fire Weather Watch is in
effect along and west of Highway 27 Monday afternoon.
Strong southerly winds are expected across the entire Tri-State area
on Sunday. Sustained winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts as high as 55
mph are expected. Blowing dust with reduced visibilities will be
possible.
Frost cannot be ruled out in northeast Colorado and southwest
Nebraska during the early morning hours mid to late next week.
