.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY…
A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for NE Colorado and adjacent
counties in Nebraska and Kansas. This will be for Sunday afternoon.
The main focus for critical fire weather conditions will be along
and west of Highway 27. Temperatures will climb to around
90F…relative humidity in the 15 to 20 percent range and winds will
be southerly 25 to 40 mph with gusts around 50 mph. These winds
could also bring about the potential for blowing dust.
The passage of a frontal boundary Tuesday into Wednesday of next
week will bring about potential frost or freeze concerns as
temperatures will drop into the mid and upper 30s for extreme
northwest areas. Check future forecasts for updates on the frost or
