Yuma County Hazardous Weather Outlook

This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska…
northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.

.DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT…

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms mainly this
evening for areas north of Interstate 70. The best chances will be in
southwest Nebraska. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main
hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…TUESDAY THROUGH MONDAY…

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon
and evening east of a McCook, Nebraska, to Norton, Kansas line.
Large hail and damaging winds may accompany stronger storms.

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms once again
Wednesday afternoon and evening east of a Trenton, Nebraska, to Hill
City, Kansas, line. Large hail and damaging winds continue to be the
main threats. Heavy rainfall will also be possible.

Thunderstorm chances will continue each day through next weekend.
There may be a few severe storms, although predictability is low at
this time.
