A light wintry mix of precipitation is expected to develop late Wednesday night and continue through the morning on Thursday. At this time, locations east of Highway 25 and north of Interstate 70 have the best chance to see ice accumulations by Thursday morning. The wintry precipitations is expected to exit the area around midday Thursday. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect beginning at 9 PM CST Wednesday night through 12 PM CST Thursday due to the ice potential. In addition to the wintry mix, dense fog may occur, with the visibility falling to a half mile or less Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
